Blog Listening, Listening, Listening:
We now have a president who is not only willing to listen but is encouraging listening in all our engagements especially with foreign countries. Listen so we can really know what their perspective is not just impose ours. Radical and rejuvenating.
Yogically listen is Sunnia, which literally means attuning you to the divine sound current. What in God’s name dose that mean.
In other words by you claiming and revealing that space inside of you, you will be able to hear the deepest resonances in others. This is an invaluable tool and unfortunately can’t be purchased at the Shunia store. It can however be developed by hanging out in that space. The old saying “Show me who you go with and I’ll tell you what you are.” Is made for this situation. If you want vast hang out in vastness, if you want to be totally wealthy Toni Robbins taught us go pick the brains of the wealthy.
So how do you listen and tune your channel to an infinite station?
I’m going to share one of my favorite ways to tune in. It is a very blissful meditation that takes you to calm. Have you ever notices there is no listening when you are in a chaotic space? So calm is the first step.
Meditation:
Sit in a comfortable position you can even do this at your desk or sit in meditative pose on the floor. Make an “o” out of your mouth and then stick your tongue through that opening extending just past your lips. Curl it if you can if not practice the curl you will be able to do it. Inhale through the tongue and on the exhale you will
Chant Whaaaa Haaaaay Guuuu Roooo (Wahe Guru) using the total breath. So stretch the sound out. This sound is about connecting you to the ecstasy of the infinite. It is the real WOW Wisdom being wowed by all wisdom including yours and those you connect with.
You can do this any time to calm yourself. It is great before a meeting or session where you are required and requested to Listen
Listening creates space, inner space. It gives us what I call a mote of grace. Between reaction and us there is a grace space, a breath, a smile, a moment that allows you to listen to the real you. Not the story that hooks into the emotion that makes you feel a certain way and then react in a very predictable rutted way.
Think of Sunnia and fall in love with what you might hear. Anyone is capable of peeling back the mysteries of the Universe, revelation for your realization. So listen up greatful for each connection.

What can we do to help each other?
I realized today in wondering what I would blog about I came upon this realization. When we know something we often assume that everyone knows that thing or lifestyle, or subject. Not true. So this is really an encouragement to share you gifts. I often take all I know for granite. I figure everyone knows about lifestyle, truly healthy eating, breathing, chanting, meditating, building community, yoga, relationships, etc. so I want to help you look at what you know and honor it by seeing how you can bring it into the light of day.
Define them:
What are you gifts?
Who needs what you have?
Why do they need it?
How can you get it out there effectively?
Who do you know that will support you? Become an affiliate, fan, influencer
Where to start? Because this is a circular space I don’t think it really matters. Just start. Really if you just start you may take what seem like some wrong turns but you will learn something from each turn and everyone you meet. Hopefully you will share your gifts with them. This will make you invaluable, learn from President Obama. It’s what he did in his first term in the senate. He didn’t try and impress anyone about how smart he is he served others. Web 2.0 really is about serving and supporting others with your gifts. They in turn may or may not support you. BUT you gifts will get out there and those who need and want them will start coming to you to share, to learn, of offer links.
6 months ago: I had heard the term Web 2.0 but now I am a part of this community. I could tell you horror stories about starting. I never felt dumber in my life and I can tell you I am not a geek now. I do however not have a problem navigating facebook and twitter. I even have apps to make it easier
by the grace of one great teacher Nikki Leigh who made me know I could do it. It’s just like the little train that could. One thing each day then two then remember why you want to learn this. If we can’t share our gifts how can we help to change this country around? Remember it is not just resting on President Obama’s shoulders it rests on ours.
So Connect: Let me know what you plan to do. How can I help you? How can you help others? Really this is the conversation. I help you and you help me and we help each other along. It may not be reciprocal but if you share others will come to your party.
Party Time:
What are you bringing to the party? Parties are for gifts. Write out your gifts and add to the list each day and then take one step each day to get them out where they can see the light of day and light others life up. Connection is the new currency, as a friend of mine would say.
Blessings

Breath= Energy:
Energy is becoming more and more priceless in our awareness. When we say energy we usually think of utilities and what we need to drive these machines we are so dependent on. What are the sources of that power? First we think oil or coal, now water is the next power resource we will see being challenged in terms of scarcity and who controls it. Yet we have something that is more priceless to hueman life even more priceless than water or oil. Yes our breath.
When was the last time you paid attention to yours? Did you notice when you are upset what happens to it? Basically it runs away from you. Truthfully you squeeze it out, refuse it space in your body or consciousness. Just notice anger and your breath is held in and a match lit to it. Combustible. Or how about when you sit in front of your computer working, working, do you forget to breathe?
It is more essential to us than water, more precious than diamonds and yet we forget about it. It is the best way to detoxify your body. The best way to wake yourself up or a different type of breath will aid your sleep. The real question is do you want to learn how to breathe? Do you want to learn breaths that work for all occasions? Are you ready to be a real hueman being and expand your hue?
We are so steeped in convenience and the ability to buy almost anything yet you can’t buy breath. You can’t even buy the ability to breath properly. Yet I’m going to give you this priceless way to connect to your breath. Try this.
Lie down on your back and put your arms straight out behind your head palms up try to let them rest on the ground. Stretch your legs out straight if you need a pillow under your knees then put one there it will take the pressure off the lower back without you bending your knees. Now stretch the hands towards the back wall and the feet towards the wall infront of you. Totally stretch and then put one hand over your diaphragm, high up where your hand fits between the rib cage. Then breathe in and allow the diaphragm expand into your hand, exhale and allow the diaphragm to sink in. Do this for 90 seconds. Then start to increase the pace of the breath without sacrificing the movement of the diaphragm. For the next 90seconds allow the breath to be a fast and easy as possible. At first this won’t feel easy but it will get to easy with practice. This breath is called Breath of fire.
What are the benefits of this breath? It opens your diaphragm, gives you more energy, release old emotions, help circulation, and much more. Do it first thing in the morning before getting out of bed. Do it when you are exhausted during the day or frustrated by something that is happening. You will be able to do it sitting in your car or at your desk after you practice it a few times on your back. It helps release and reconnect you to you.
Lets do one for relaxation shall we. This is one of my favorites. “O” breathe. Just make an “O” out of your mouth. A tight “O” and then inhale and exhale through the mouth without letting go of the “O”. This breath is calming and cooling like a cool drink of water only it is a cool drink of oxygen. We call Breath prana or life force. I always say life force or a forced life. This is great to do when upset, before bed or instead of a chill pill. CALMING!
There are so many breaths but try these two and make friends with them and then I will be back with more goodies for you. You have to practice these and make them your friends first otherwise they will leave you. Do it, do it now. Enjoy! Have Fun! Share them.

Yesterday I was weeding in my back yard and I had a realization. Weeding the yard is so much easier than weeding out our thoughts. Weeding out unwanted thoughts needs tools. What are your tools for weeding out ineffective thoughts? What about ones that actually take you down? Do you have different tools for each of these?
I’m not into perfect tools I’m into effective ones. Are yours effective?
I want to share some of my favorite tools.
The first one is just to clear your head so you can calm down the chatter or lists, or all the peoples demands.
Hands Shaking
Greetings for a clear mind
Sitting straight, shake the hands on both sides of the head, close to the ears. Keep the wrists loose and the fingers semi tight. For added benefit, close the eyes and focus in the center of brows.
1 minute
Gift
Brain balancer; helps release unwanted conversations and obsessive thoughts.
This will not totally change the habitual thoughts but it breaks the pattern in a fun and energetic way that usually has you wanting to come back for more.
I am going to give you another one that is great for breaking patterns. Everything we do is based on our current subconscious patterns and our perceptions come from those patterns. The great news is everything is energy, which means shifting our energy can change our focus, our perceptions, and our mental overload. This one can be done anywhere.
Well almost anywhere better to do in a bathroom, your office, a car but can be done subtlety anywhere. Great to ward off the beginnings of anxiety attacks.
Four Part Breath: Miracle Breath
Break up with overwhelming feelings
Blow your stress away
Sitting up straight, inhale through the mouth, filling your lungs in four equal parts—starting the breath as low as possible in the abdomen. Exhale through the mouth in four equal parts, from the upper chest down. If you feel relaxed you can do this exercise breathing through the nose. Repeat the cycle.
1-3 minutes
Gift
Instantly reduces stress, so you may see a situation more objectively. Helps dissolve overwhelming feelings.
With your energy change this is the time to create thoughts backed up by actions that serve you. Do you know when you need to take a break? Do you take it then? Even if it is a bathroom break. Do you know when you really need to eat and what? Do you only eat when hungry or whenever things are available? Let your observer observe you and see if you are serving the totality of you.
Many more available techniques on my sites in the flip charts, which can sit on your desk and videos to support you on youtube at the energy guru’s site.
Blessings and May these serve you
