Are you utilizing the enegy of the natural Cycles?

June 29th, 2009 — 7:59pm

Are you tuned into the natural cycles of the year?

Why would you want to connect with Summer and Winter Solstices and the Spring and Fall Equinoxes? They tell us of the cycles that are occurring around us whether we are connected to these cycles or not. Last week was a perfect after Summer Solstices time the male Solstices. It is a time where things shift. The maximum of the sun influence, the fire, the growth and with that growth that the sun causes we must remember that too much sun burns causes death or cells and more. We all want life but not death yet we saw allot of high profile deaths. This brings us to look at legacy and what we leave behind and what leaves us behind. We forget that birth and death are inextricably linked. Look at your business when one thing takes off you know you need to look for the aspect or product or person that will fall behind or fail, death. It’s projection ecstasy of the light energy and watching it’s opposite death and seeing where that is occurring.

Fall Equinox is about harvest. It is the time for bringing in of the last crops in many places, the gratitude for the bounty that has been given the balance of equal sun and moon energy, equal male and female energy. Time to party because a cycle is complete and contemplate the next cycle, which is more restive in agriculture societies. Here we need to see what is allowing us to reap profits and what is not and make decisions about what stays and what needs to go. What needs to fall away?

This time is the beginning of going within for the vision time, which is at its height on Winter Solstices. This is the female Solstices, which has the most moon energy, and gives us the unveiling of the mysteries. We often loose this one totally to holiday madness. We party and get frustrated with families or flee to avoid it all. Truly it is about bringing the seers together so you can divine what is needed for the next cycle of your life, business, and relationships. Now we squander this sacred time. It is license to eat too much, too many sweets, which is the female sweetness aspect and drink too much to loose ourselves because the longing is really to dive in deeply. So we do a fake dive in with drugs and drink. Go fishen in your own ponds and see what is not known that needs to be brought into the known. After Winter Solstices we often feel depleted because of too much output and too little input. We didn’t go within, we try to set a new course for our lives, and businesses and we call it making New Years resolutions. They often don’t succeed because we haven’t really vetted these ideas deeply and we don’t set the support tools in place to succeed. Support is innately feminine.

This moves into the Spring Equinox, which is all about planting. The planting of seeds both physical and within your business and relationships. What do you want to sprout in the next phase? This is the time to till the soil of your business dig up the old and ad fertilizer. The organic kind of course so it won’t come back to bite you later on. This is a time to be more conscious of what you are planting in your own back yard (business and personal relationships) and what you are planting with your words, thoughts and money (energy) in the larger arena. For what is planted will come up or may die but it is seeking life. Make sure it is something you want to live on after you. Spring Equinox is also the balance of Sun and Moon. Fall is harvest and digging up and spring is planting nourishing the vision time. The spring comes from the visions of the winter mysteries being unveiled and the fall comes form the fire of the sun bringing everything into the light of day. Moon is a mantle a cover, darkness more concealment and the Sun is everything will be brought forth, judges, projected, pushed into center stage. Very different cycles.

If you gear your business to make use for these cycles you will be most happy because you will use the energy that is available and it will make things easier. When you go against the flow of the cycles you can force it but it is the swimming upstream deal and if you are not a salmon then get into the groove of what is and use these energies.

Remember that the Sun light brings it’s opposite loss of light, which we call death. The Moon attracts the unseen to be unveiled and often what we want to keep veiled looses its mask and come into the open naked. Look at the news at these times. Reflect back upon your own life, secrets come out into the open during the holiday times. Make your own mental notes of what you remember here within your own life.

Mark these cycles on your calendars. Schedule events that will support these aspects of you life. Make decisions so you can utilize the energies of these days and oh yes meditate more during these times. These are great times to go on a spiritual retreat to recharge you and to create a separation of what is for what is to come. Great planning times. Great times to take a break and be with that which matters to you.

Wow Women With Kris Steinnes

June 25th, 2009 — 1:50pm

Great articles

What was your inspiration of interviewing these women?
After reading The Feminine Face of God, by Patricia Hopkins and Sherry Anderrson, I was so moved by these spiritual women’s life stories that a vision came to me to bring them to Seattle. When this began in 1993 I wanted to bring these spiritual best selling authors/women leaders so we could experience their stories in person. It felt like a call for women leaders to be visible to us so we could have role models of what a woman embodied in her own power would look like.

What made you choose these specific women?
For the book I chose some of the women that stood out for me as powerful women with an important message for other women. And I wanted a diverse selection where they each describe a different picture of what the feminine is, or what women need to do to empower themselves. There are many more that could have been included but it was limited in space as I also wanted to include the everyday woman who comes to the conference, expressing her stories, art and poetry for a full spectrum viewpoint of the feminine. Both, leaders and lay women, are important in the community of Women of Wisdom.

Are you thinking of doing a book of sayings I found so many I loved?
Yes I thought these would make great cards, book marks, etc. as the messages are so powerful and moving.

Love the concept of co-illusion and hidden in plain sight. Will you share some of your favorite sentences or passages?

There’s several – you can choose:

Angeles Arrien
Page 30
Our call in the 21st century is to bring meaning, magic and enchantment back into the world, and we can only do that by coming forward with our gifts and our talents. This century is really a call to courage and character; a deep, deep remembering of why we’re here, our life dreams and life calling.

Page 33
“When in your life did you stop singing? When in your life did you stop dancing? When in your life did you stop being enchanted by stories and particularly you own life story?

I’m at home when I have fire; when I am deeply connected to what has heart and meaning, the heart’s fire; when I’m seized by a vision that I want to manifest and bring to the sweet face of Mother Earth. I know I’m on fire when I’ve connected to something numinous and extraordinarily beautiful that can only be found when trusting in an unshakable part of myself, in a sacred refuge that I can find in my deep interior.

Isabel Allende – page 70
I have come to the conclusion that the most precious gifts women can give to each other are their personal stories. By sharing our experiences, our pains and joys, our fears, hopes and desires, we create a sacred space where we can find new strength.

Page 93
As women heal ourselves individually, we heal the great wound to the feminine in our culture and in our world. As we share who we are, we awaken new consciousness in the collective, forging a way for the Divine Feminine to manifest. As we grow, She grows. In this way, sharing our individual stories serves a much greater unfolding.

I believe that if a story touches one person’s heart, changes one person’s perspective, then it has fulfilled its mission.

Riane Eisler
Page 200
I believe that feminine consciousness is today more essential than ever, because it is women who must lead the changes in our world. For me, this consciousness has a spiritual dimension. But it is not spiritual in the conventional sense, because for me, spirituality is putting love into action. We must reclaim our heritage as spiritual leaders. This is our great challenge and opportunity; to join with one another and with enlightened men to build the foundations for a more equitable, peaceful and joyful world.

Page 213
The rise of the domination model includes a spiritual model of men as divine and women as merely carnal. If we have the divine Father and Son, but no Goddess to workshop, then it follows that men are above women and therefore have a right to dominate us. If the divine is male, then all that is female is not divine. What is lost then? The female, the Earth, the sensuality and sexuality of the body are all left behind to be denigrated and dominated.

But we can reclaim the sacred feminine.

Marion Woodman
Page 231
I know I can say “thank God for my addiction, because without the addiction I would never have known Sophia. I had to change my whole relationship to life. I had to recognize the slowness of the feminine, the beat of the heart, the earth imagery of the feminine. I had to take time to love nature, be with my body, to honor the soul in my body, and come to love Her through suffering. The suffering broke my heart open. It put me on my knees, in front of the wall, and smashed my heart open. And that was the end of compulsive control.

So you see the paradigm we are moving toward has to be one of love. We must let go of control dynamics.

Page 237
The awareness that we are all one – we, the animals, each other – and that we are en-souled in one loving energy, is the Goddess. The goddess is a manifestation of god. The two go together. To feel this in your body, and to feel the heart beat of the planet, this is the feminine. From my point of view, the creative imagination is the healer – it’s healing the Soul, so that even if I die, the healing is taking place.

Jean Shinoda Bolen
Poage 245

Male leadership cannot change the fundamentals of masculine hierarchy. For there to be a balanced world where those without power matter, empowered women, such as we can be, need to speak for the children, women, animals and for our beautiful planet itself. Women’s wisdom, experience and compassion are missing when decisions that affect us all are made.

Page 201

I realize that there are many men who are in circles, and yet I really think that it is the proliferation of women’s circle that is going to change our world. From the women’s circle, each woman learns and practices what it’s like to be in an egalitarian society. And she learns to speak up, to speak out-not with anger, but with clarity and with her real voice. She learns how to be both truthful and direct, and to be concerned and compassionate at the same time.

Barbara Marx Hubbard
Page 295
So I’m laying the groundwork for what I mean by an evolutionary woman, a feminine cocreator. Not only is she awakening to her equality, but she doesn’t want to be equal to men in a dysfunctional world. We do not want front seats on the Titanic. So we have a role to play in creating this new world.

Jean Houston
Page 308

You are telling your stories, and you must continue to tell stories, because solutions to the problems facing the future will arise from the subjective world, from the unfolding of levels of understanding, from the implicate order that is held in the metaphysical womb that you all contain, which is gestating a world to come. This nonlinear mind we hold is the Mother mind,. It is not analytical or sequential, but is by and large circular, empathic and narrative.

Circles are the way of the feminine how would you explain this to women who have never experienced the concept?

I think circles are natural for women. Curves are feminine! I’ve never had difficulty explaining how circles work as I find it easy for women to understand, it’s how they meet with their friends, having tea, sitting in your living room – we all like to see each other. Circles invoke a process modality and women’s way of speaking is through process rather than product. We talk in circles, rather than straight lines. Circles are feminine as they allow for people to be receptive to others around them and receptivity is a feminine trait.

Why circles are the way of the feminine is that they allow for inclusiveness – everyone is part of a circle equally. It’s much more comfortable than sitting in a linear mode with a teacher at the head of the class, and chairs, or tables and chairs in rows in front of the teacher. The message given there is the teacher is the expert, and you have to listen to what they say- and that you don’t have a voice unless called upon. In a circle all people have gifts to share and their expertise adds to the whole, the process of whatever is occurring in that circle.

The circle allows for the voice of every person to be shared, and you can see everyone. It also can stretch you if you’re not comfortable being seen, as you can’t hide in the back of the room! It gives the person the message that they can contribute and they are important to the process that is going on.

What do you want women to take away from this book?
That they are powerful leaders, they need to find their voice, they need to stand and be visible, and they need to honor their feminine gifts. They need to be role models for the younger generation so girls see women are respected and the feminine gifts are acknowledged in our society. Then they don’t have to squash them like so many of us felt we had to when we were growing up.

What ways do you see this book creating support in women’s life?
I think it would create support, because reading it you are hearing from women who are just like you – so the will know they’re not alone. Tools are in the book to teach you how to create your own circle of women friends. There are exercises for the inward journey – to explore the topics these great women authors have brought to us in the book – to explore how they relate to our own lives. I know it has reached many women and impacted them to feel supported at a time that they needed to hear these messages. I think it’s a great book to have by your bed and just pick up any page and start reading, it will inspire you.

How did the concept of WOW come to you?
I was reading The Feminine Face of God by Sherry Anderson and Patricia Hopkins in 1992, which I loved as I love stories and particularly stories about people’s lives. During the time I was in a healing group and a woman who was working on me doing a shamanic type healing said “you need to be an advocate for women.” I had no idea what she meant and she said it two weeks in a row. I had already claimed a mission statement for my life to bring people together but I didn’t know how that would look like.

A couple of weeks later, one night I was driving home and it was one of those clear nights, clean energy around me, and the idea came to me to bring these women from the book to Seattle Unity Church who had an ongoing speaker program. Then the voice said, no, do it as a one-week conference so there can be a community of women. Two weeks later I realized this was what the healer was seeing around me, it just was able to come in on that drive home as I was in a receptive mode.

Loved the concept of the male Hierarchy not being able to heal itself that it will take the women to heal it. Could you speak to this?

I think it will take women to heal the hierarchy because we are the one’s who can bring in the feminine energy that’s needed for balance. There are many enlightened men out there, who understand the feminine energy, but even they are not fully accepted for using that energy. It takes a courageous person to do so as they are going against the way our society operates. The masculine mode of operating in business and politics is the predominant one still. It will take women rising up in power, taking on leadership positions to change how we do things, which is more process oriented than product oriented as Jean Houston stated. It won’t be felt as the feminine unless it’s embodied in the female form. We have bodies for a reason. Feminine and masculine isn’t about the physical, it doesn’t equate to men and women as we all have feminine and masculine traits. But the physical is how we express things in this world, we came here as humans and it’s for a reason, so probably it’s one of our lessons.

Everything seems to be off kilter these days and if women’s voices were more honored, if the feminine was more respected, the hierarchy wouldn’t be a hierarchy anymore, it would be yin and yang, feminine and masculine, together, co-creating as Barbara Marx Hubbard calls it, and the partnership way as Riane Eisler expresses it.

What is the most touted and least understood concept of our time?

June 18th, 2009 — 3:15pm

What is the most touted and least understood word we use?

Take a deep breath and sit quietly for 1 moment and listen to the answer. What is everyone striving for which can never be reached by striving? What do we want for the world and yet can’t seem to have it in our own lives? What is above and beyond any price tag? Come on you know it. It is a distant longing in your being. This longing is encoded within us. Yes that to which we all long to belong but more than that. Did you just think I was going to hand over the answer to you? Lets awaken it.

Try this with me. Don’t just read this read and do it otherwise you will never get the experience of it.

Sitali Breath
Breathe out that stress…

Roll the tongue and stick it past your lips. If you cannot roll it, just make an “O” shape with your mouth with the tongue protruding slightly beyond the lips. Breathe in deeply through the mouth. Exhale slowly through the nose emptying the lungs all the way.

1-3 minutes

Gift
The best anti-stress breath available. The breath passing over the wet tongue creates a cooling effect.

How do you feel now? If you did this for 1-3 minutes instead of just reading it you will feel more relaxed, more at peace. That which we want, march for,
long for in the world we also long for in ourselves and that word has just been used…. PEACE.

We can do all we do for peace and all those things are great, gracious, and inclusive yet if we don’t know how to create that state inside of ourselves how can we think it will translate to the all. Peace is an epidemic. It is contagious. Just go sit with some holy (whole) person any one will do it can be the Dhali Lama, your parish priest, yourself hopefully and you will experience peace. The place where your mind is calm and not jerking you all over the map.

I know just sitting still is one of the most challenging things that any hueman can do. Yet it is of paramount importance. Start with a chant or a prayer and move into silent. One of my favorites to share is this one. Do this breath first and then sit.

Four Part Breath: Miracle Breath
Blow your stress away!

Sitting up straight, inhale through the mouth, filling your lungs in four equal parts—starting the breath as low as possible in the abdomen. Exhale through the mouth in four equal parts, from the upper chest down. If you feel relaxed you can do this exercise breathing through the nose. Repeat the cycle.

1-3 minutes

Gift
Instantly reduces stress, so you may see a situation more objectively. Helps dissolve overwhelming feelings.

Everything in life is about experiences. If you don’t have an experience of calm, peace, knowing then you cannot truly promote that at a greater level.
We can be anti war but that is not the same as pro-peace. Mother Treesa was once asked to take part in an anti war rally and her comment was this, “I cannot march against war but if you ever have a peace march I would be happy to be a part of that.” It is about what we are for. What we stand for means we must understand it, which means to stand under. To stand under peace requires your being willing to sit with you, to honor your breath, to create hope from the inside out. Then you will radiate peace and others with catch it for it is contagious.

You are reading this because you want something now act on that want and take these tools and make them yours. There are so many places on this planet that they cannot for many reasons sit and be calm in a secure environment. We have the privilege may we use it well and often. If this does not work for you don’t stop here. Seek till you find something that resonates with your essence and brings you calm. No, not the cheating short cuts of drugs or alcohol but something that will sustain, support and feed the totality of you so you vibrate light into the world and you become a whole, holy person one who has control over all her/his holes. I have so many more techniques to share with you this is just a teaser a great place to start. Give yourself 11, 22, 31 minutes/day or really do what we were given and say yes to 2 ½ hours Wow Right! Trust me it works you meet everything. Try something you Will commit to each day. The will creates the way. Way in is the mantra now.

Interview with Barbara Weaver Smith

June 15th, 2009 — 9:52am

Dear Barbara Weaver Smith:

What a great book and I must say I was prepared to think I wasn’t going to learn a lot from the book. I was wrong.

1. If you could tell women one thing that would entice them to read this book what would that be?

Women have a special flair for doing big deals, in our companies and in our communities. We need to claim our role as deal-makers, believe in it, and constantly work to get better at it. This book is about how to become a bigger, better deal-maker, whether your deal is a going to be sale, a project, a fundraising goal, or a new personal opportunity.

2. Tell me, and everyone reading this why you start out asking questions instead of giving information in your wonderful book? There must be a good reason and I really want to know it.

Questions prompt readers to consider my ideas in light of their own experience. People don’t learn by being told; we only learn by actively processing information. The questions that I pose throughout the book, under the titles “reflections” and “actions” are designed to help readers make it their own.

3. What would you say to someone who only has experience in a competitive environment to make them be open to give collaboration a chance?
I’d ask them, how’s that working for you? Does your organization or department or team accomplish its highest objectives in this environment? If you work in an internally competitive environment, chances are it’s not very functional, and everyone knows it.

4. Sometimes we don’t know when we are in a certain mindset because the entire environment is of that mindset how would you suggest shaking up the “Norm” every so often?
Two chapters in my book offer suggestions for shaking up the norm. One is “Radical Culture: Kill Some Commandments.” It has a list of “the way we do things” and some ideas for change. Another is “Fast Times.” This chapter has ten ways to work differently. My ideas for shaking up the norm are always focused on “what are we trying to accomplish?” and “how might we accomplish it better, faster, or more easily?” There’s no point to “shaking things up” unless we want to improve our outcomes.

5. What criteria or guidelines would you give a group or company to assist them in bringing in someone with a different but effective mind set that would increase the assets of their company meaning their people, product and creative collaboration?

My guidelines are time, trust, and team. Any kind of organizational culture change requires time and commitment from the leadership. So my first guideline is, are the leaders committed to change and willing to stand behind the change agent or the change process over a period of time? It’s only natural for some people to resist change, especially in an organization that has been successful. “This is how we do things, and this way works.” Sometimes it’s necessary to change because you’re at a different point in your evolution, or the world around you is changing, and what used to work doesn’t work as well any more. Nevertheless, the leadership needs to allow lots of time for people to understand and implement new ways of working together. The second guideline is to choose a person or team that you like and trust, who are warm and inviting, not abrasive and off-putting. You will be trusting them with your most precious resources. Third, involve the whole team. Don’t just tell people how or why things need to be different. Engage them in the process of change, seek their involvement in designing new methods or processes, and learn from them along the way. The “change agent” should be someone who believes that the team has the answers—they only need good questions and a safe environment in which to work out the answers.

6. You said. ”You are in control of how your market perceives you –
exercise that control faithfully.” Would you please explain that in
more detail?

That concept is especially directed to small companies or to people who are solo entrepreneurs. If we allow ourselves to “think small,” we often look even smaller than we are! So controlling the market’s perception is another way of saying “put your best foot forward.” You have the opportunity to influence how a whale (big prospect) sees you. In your marketing materials, your website, your phone calls, and in person, you can choose to look professional. You can choose to prepare. You can create a team to do this deal, enlisting your banker, your accountant, a current customer, a networking partner. These ideas are discussed in the chapter entitled “Small Company Looking Big.”

Are you ready for freedom?

June 12th, 2009 — 4:54pm

Do you want your freedom back?

This is directed to you who may be working for corporations or businesses and would really love the freedom and yet security of working for yourselves. I hear more and more horror stories of businesses who are using these times to let go of people they didn’t like under the guise of cut backs. Businesses who are slashing salaries and commissions, some really need to do these things and some are just doing it.

People are our most precious commodity. People and products are the foundation of any working business. Yes you need great business plans and
unique and impressive ways to get the word out about your business and products but the real bottom line is how the people are treated. Would they do anything for you and the company? If yes you are taking good care of them and a good leader. This level of connection creates comfort and freedom to make leaps, to grow and excel. This requires vision and capacity to create healthy environments of trust and support for your business.

These are the same skills needed to excel in life, love and consciousness. Yes it often seems people excel without these values in place. They do but only to a point. They excel in making money they may excel in leadership skills but they are not leaving a legacy that will last after they are gone. They are not creating wellness within themselves nor the people who work for them. Someone told me today that her company was bought out last year by venture capitalists. Neither good nor bad in and of itself yet this company put so much pressure on her boss, whom by the way was the reason she joined this company, that this normally healthy man had a frozen shoulder for a month. Couldn’t shoulder the burned anymore. Finally after three months they just locked him out of the building and gave him three- month severance pay. They didn’t even have the courtesy to tell him in person or by phone of his dismissal. Another friend of mine was let go of a managerial position by email with NO severance.

This is not the way things need to be. Yet starting out on your own is very scary trust me I know I have done it. Now is the time to have support. Ways to support your dreams that should you choose to start or be part of a start up
you would not feel alone and floundering through. Does this sound good to you? If yes then I have some things that can do this for you. One easy place is joining Quattro Space .com (can’t put live links in many blogs). Another is I will be doing a live FREE teleseminar on ways you can get support. I wished I had this as I blundered through throwing money every which way trying to see what would serve me. I would like you to have a straighter path to the Wealth, Wellness, Leadership and Legacy components than I did.
If this interests you opt in on my blog, www.blogspot.com/theenergyguru or my web sites.

Service is one of the biggest bonuses of the Internet world and how to find the real service people. Service is what having a business is about. Serve your dreams, serve yourself and be able to serve others. This allows you to be able to create your dreams, which are always bigger than your survival.

I will promise you two things I will give you people and links that will help you. I will invite you to free calls that will have offerings that will support you. I will let you know about products that I and others I trust have found useful in this journey to freedom. My teacher always said, “There is no freedom which is free there is no liberation without labor.” This is true and with help we can make it a more joyous journey to the fulfillment of your dreams. For once our dreams are alive and well in the world we have more time and energy to devote to serving others.

I look forward to serving you. I look forward to knowing what your dreams are and how those dreams can be born to uplift this planet.

Blessings

Want to know the Secret behind HOPE?

June 9th, 2009 — 6:24pm

H.O.P.E. Want to find out what secret is encoded in this?

Hope is one of my favorite words and it is at a premium right now. Many people have lost their hope and can’t seem to find it. They want someone else or something to give them hope. Good I want to share mine with you. I do want to tell you one thing. You may not like what I’m going to say but hope is contagious. If you want to be hopeful you have to fill yourself up with hope and you have to keep the company of the hopeful.

How do you fill up with hope when it seems like we can recite all the reasons not to be hopeful. There appear many reasons to doubt hope at this moment. Yet…. when we get hopeless we loose our E. our energy goes down the tube and we have a name for this. Depression. The D word is not a part of hope and it renders us very lethargic.

What is hopeful about these times? Everything is being transformed. That is both scary and exciting. You don’t have to choose one or the other it often fluctuates back and forth between the two. The old is caving in on itself and we have a chance to rebuild in a new more graciously inclusive way of living. Call it sustainable, call it green, call it pink I don’t care but know it is more connected.

The connection you have to bring to the party called life is invaluable because without it the linking is weaker. You have a key to all this and it can only be discovered by you. Use all the help you want and need to uncover it. Truth be told you are the holder of it and only you can bring it forth. Others can help awaken it and structure it with and for you but you and you alone are your brand. This does not mean you have to do this alone. Quite the contrary this is not the time for alone. It is the time for alone.

1. You have to know what you have to offer. The knowingness comes from being, meditating allowing the vision.
2. You have to be able to look around and see who can support you in bringing this forward. Might be different people at different stages.
3. Look at what parts and people you need to make this happen or look at what is happening and see how you can bring your gifts to something already in existance.
4. This is not a static process. 1,2,3, done.

This is great to get you to a calm place of knowingness

Sitali Breath
Breathe out that stress…

Roll the tongue and stick it past your lips. If you cannot roll it, just make an “O” shape with your mouth with the tongue protruding slightly beyond the lips. Breathe in deeply through the mouth. Exhale slowly through the nose emptying the lungs all the way.

1-2 minutes

Gift
The best anti-stress breath available. The breath passing over the wet tongue creates a cooling effect.

To get some knowingness going it requires vision, to get vision you need stillness, to have stillness you must loose the anxiety, to loose the anxiety you must have yoga (that which connects and unites you), to allow yoga you must have enough self-worth intact, to have self-worth you need support, to ask for support requires knowing that you need it. do you want your skinny back? #6

June 4th, 2009 — 6:21pm

Rule #5 Get real and realistic with your feelings.

Wow! Or as I would say Wahe Guru (The eternal, invincible WOW)
As you go through this process not just read about it but truly embark on the “dealing with emotions barge” I applaud you. Why because there is a reason you have the weight on in the first place. Again I don’t care where you are carrying your weight and I don’t mean body parts I mean your dead cows can manifest or womanfest as physical weight, mental weight, emotional weight, and psychic weight. We carry it around knowing we have it or unconsciously not really knowing.

When you loose weight something truly amazing happens that no one prepares you for. You feel more. You feel everything more. Great news is you are more aware of how you feel and how everyone else feels.
Not so great news is we were never taught what to do with ALL those feelings. This is what you fortified yourself against now a new journey, both exciting and scary. I want to help you have some tools to deal with all these sensations so you don’t choose to cover them up with sugar or caffeine or some other drug of choice.

Aside: If you forget something you need or want to remember I want to offer you two effective techniques for bringing something that has (slipped out the back door) home. One is an NLP technique that they stole from the yogi’s right, just look up and sit or stand with the thought you want to retrieve. It will appear as if by majic. Another way is take your baby or Mercury fingers and interlink them with each other and pull thinking of what it is you need to recall. Again usually comes a calling.
When you feel overwhelmed by emotions your tendency may be to cry or stuff it, or get angry or ______- fill it in. I would like you to try one of these breathing techniques. Just for a couple minutes. Practice it now and every day a couple times a day just so it will be on your hard drive when you need it.

The other breath is called
Sipping breath: This is very easy, just make your mouth like you have a straw in your mouth and inhale through the straw like lips. Exhale through your nose.
1-3 minutes
Gift:
Will take you into a very relaxed space to feel more connected to you.

Lighten Up:
This comes from a friend of mine. Start a lighten up journal.
1. When things get challenging write it down and then look at what the possible light could be in the situation.
2. Write down what you would do to make lite of this situation. Use your sense of humor.
3. Write down what you can turn this into. Light, lite, life lite, lite life

Move:

You need to move your body every day, movement rocks. Not just walking. Get extreme. Do yoga till you sweat, swim a mile, roller blade, dance, run, jump, roll down hills but do whatever you choose for a MINIUM yes MINIUM of 40 minutes/day. Love what you do and do what you love. If you don’t love any of it get your person and go to a class or have a different class partner. No, not a study class and exercise class of some kind where you are accountable for not only showing up but also doing the work.

There is a great saying: “ Show up. Do the work and don’t be attached to the results. Each part is the most challenging when you are in that stage.

This is your mantra for exercise. Best if you like it but even if you don’t get an accountability partner who will go with you and make it happen with and for you. No they cannot exercise for you.

I can say 1000000000 things about the benefits of movement. I can tell you I am 60 and greatful that my body is flexible and strong and I want that for each of you. This can also be a deep quite time for you depending on what you choose or a fun connective time. Have several options. Opting out is not one of them.

Accountable is beautiful.
