What price Joy?

February 2nd, 2010 — 6:26pm

It’s funny that sometimes we work so hard and little seems to come of it and then pop. Things arise from nowhere. Things you never though of come and things that you have been pushing up the hill must be laid to rest.

I have found in my life and observing those around me, that there truly are seasons. When we miss the internal changing of the leaves or the guard we miss great chances.

Sometimes we get so fixated on what needs to be done or happen or or or that we loose the opportunity that shows up unexpectedly, spontaneously.

I want to share something with you that I hope you will incorporate into your life to clear the spiderwebs from your brain and allow JOY. Joy is a big word. It means having fun with what is. Finding the fun where it does not seem to reside.

I had a recent experience that really work me up. This last year I have worked harder than I can remember. I have “Lots to show for it ” I’m also tired and ready to play. To find the play of the infinite so I was sent, express mail a great playmate who wants to take me places. To give me space to relax and be so I can get what is truly next, so I can be more joyously effective. This is what I needed what to you need to be in JOY?

Here is somethings I hope will help clear your hear and heart so you can be open to allowing the majic in. To allow what wants to dance with you in the area or areas you have closed shop.

Three Part Forward Bend

The brain fountain of youth

Stand with legs wide open. The stiffer you feel, the wider you should spread the legs.

Bend over and place the fingertips on the floor right under the shoulders. Bend the knees if necessary. When inhaling, lift trunk and head parallel to the floor. Exhale in three-parts, lowering head and trunk towards the floor in three equal parts.

1-2 minutes

Gift

This pumping motion activates the spinal fluid up and down the spine and through the brain. Allows your legs and spine to stretch. The enhanced breath helps release overwhelming feelings.

What if you had to write about your I am ness of die?

April 7th, 2009 — 5:26pm

What are you? What are you made of? What makes your life a gift? I am is only half of the prayer it is truly I am,I am is the vastness and the second I am is the personal grounded aspect of that vastness.

I invite you to write about you in conjunction with the world at this moment. Once you know the inner I am you can also know the relationship of you to the world. It would be nice if it worked in the reverse but that does not hold true. You have to know you first. You have to release whatever is keeping you from loving yes deeply loving you. Only then will you really know the I am. The I am gives you the connective line to flow into the essence of you and come up with some wonderful writing. A poem, a song, a story, a play, a rhyme, Just do it. Write something
to connect the dotted lines to the core of you.

This is mine meant to get your juices flowing about you.

I am:
By Gurutej

I am a flounce on the end of God’s skirt
I am a long cool sip of water or so I’ve been told
I am strong and co-ordinated with lots of injuries
I am a great lover of all big and small
I am a great belly laugh and good storyteller
I am light hearted and yet intense
I am longhaired and learning patience
I am awaiting my lover and enjoying my life
I am seeking the moment to reveal itself blindly
I am a lover of rollerblading and freedom
I am beautiful or so I’m told
I am beautiful in more ways than told
I am powerful and helpful
I am learning patience and when to be impatient
I am in the thick and thin of things
I am doing nothing and everything
I am alone and part of it all
I am a mother and grandmother
I am a daughter and a lover
I am a teacher, student, friend
I am learning patience and humility

Feel priceless enough to write something on the big and small of you. If we each do
it will expand the Universe.
