Actress, radio and television host, songwriter and performer, Marla Maples was raised in the beautiful countryside of Georgia. A self proclaimed tomboy and natural born athlete, she dreamed of one day being in the Olympics but after success in the pageant world she changed course to begin an acting career which led her to New York City just before her 21st birthday.
She also loves hosting the popular radio show “Awakening with Marla” which shares the voices of those who are dedicated to uplifting humanity. Marla also is a contributing writer to a variety of magazine publications.
Marla’s heart is set on one day seeing unity in the world and she works diligently to spread this message of hope. She has served as honorary chairperson and host for numerous charities and foundations and was named Honorary Citizen of Atlanta.
