What are you saying yes to at this moment? What is that yes is giving you? What are you saying no to? What are you getting from saying no? We sometimes have the things we need to be saying yes to and the things we need to say no to mixed up. The best way to check it out is meditate first. Clear and calm your mind. This will come from a clear mind that will activate your intuition and give you an answer that will feed you as opposed to one that just seems good or fun at the moment but the lasting effects will neither sustain nor support you.

Current sounds
The balloon of suppression is popping all over the world, especially in the Mideast. Egypt, Social Media driven peaceful, well mostly peaceful, overthrow. Libya more violent. The word out on the streets and online is all these dictators must go. The year of the Rabbit allows the peacemakers to come forth. This is not to say all will be peace. Only to say that dictatorships will fall and fall fast because things that were unseen and previously unheard can now be unveiled.
It was so wonderful seeing the interview on 60 minutes about the Google employee, who is their manager for the Mideast, speak of when his blindfold was taken off that he went up and kissed each of his guards. He understood that they were uneducated and meant him no harm they just thought he was trying to destroy their country. The sounds of blows and the sound of kisses in return. Truly that is the path of the saint. No canonization here but the capacity to see through the normal perceptions with compassion has a sound wave that brought a country’s dictator down.
The sound current of compassion is loud. The sound of anger is jarring. The sound current of love is deep. The sound current of one voice is transformational. Every move we make seen or unseen creates a sound. That sound changes the composition of the Universe in some way. The more conscious we are the more vast the sound. The more connected we are the wider the sound. How is your current vibrating today?
Are you aware of how important what you are adding to the sound stew is? Is it a spice or ingredient that is needed or just way to much salt? Do you feel the need for more silence or more noise? Silence gives us vastness. It expands us. It slows us down and spreads us up, yes up. Noise and hurry makes us have tight squeaky sounds that irritate all around us.
Yesterday my beloved did and interview with PBS on Alternative ways of eating and living. They fell in love with his voice and told him he should do voice overs. He was completely non plused by this. His voice is majic I fell in love with his voice first. I have told him he could recite the ABC’s and I would listen gladly. It is his cadence, his rhythm, his North Carolina Accent and the feeling that he is just there with you. Why because he totally inhabits his voice. Because the range has depth, kindness and vastness cause you to trust him, to allow him to wrap you in his voice. He has not studied some book about influencing people with his cadence as others have he genuinely loves people. He is one of the most calm present people I have ever met. You just want to dive into his voice. They felt this and wanted more of his sound current. Do people run to hear you or run away from you when you speak? Maybe neither but pay attention to peoples response to your sound current. Watch their body language it will tell you how they really feel.
Want a couple great ways to open your voice and expand your sound current. Chanting is one great way to open your voice so you can rejoice. Open heart and open voice go together. Another is paying attention to how you speak. Actually record yourself for a day ad then listen back to all you say. It is quite an eye and ear opening lesson about your current sound.

What is the most touted and least understood word we use?
Take a deep breath and sit quietly for one moment and listen to the answer. What is everyone striving for which can never be reached by striving? What do we want for the world and yet can’t seem to have in our own lives? What is above and beyond any price tag? Come on you know it. It is a distant longing in your being. This longing is encoded within us. Yes, that to which we all long to belong, but more than that. Did you just think I was going to hand over the answer to you? Let’s awaken it. Let’s experience it.

Roll the tongue and stick it past your lips. If you cannot roll it, just make an “O” shape with your mouth with the tongue protruding slightly beyond the lips. Breathe in deeply through the mouth. Exhale slowly through the nose emptying the lungs all the way.
1-3 minutes
I know just sitting still is one of the most challenging things that any hueman can do. Yet it is of paramount importance. Start with a chant or a prayer and move into silence.
How do you feel now? If you did this for 1-3 minutes instead of just reading it you will feel more relaxed, more at peace. That which we want, march for, long for in the world, we also long for in ourselves. That word has just been used…. PEACE.
We can do all we can do to create more peace in the world all those things are great, gracious, and inclusive. Yet, if we don’t know how to create that state inside of ourselves, how can we think it will translate to all? Peace is an epidemic. It is contagious. Just go sit with some holy (whole) person, anyone will do. It can be the Dhali Lama, your parish priest, a movie that is uplifting or yourself hopefully, and you will experience peace. The place where your mind is calm and not jerking you all over the map, sit until you have this experience.
Is happiness or unhappiness real?
I love this quote because it is so true. Yogi Bhajan said this to us and I now say it to us all. “In reality you are neither happy nor unhappy. You are an idiot because happy and unhappy are all your mental conceptions.” Tis true. We have snapshots of what happy is, how it looks and feels and smells and is. Then if that shows up we are happy otherwise we are depressed, distressed, arrested, contested, and self molested. Really self-molestation is what we do when our minds go off on us and convince us that we are happy or sad or depressed or elated or anything.
Mental constructs. Yes, there are mineral components to anxiety and depression but people in third world countries don’t have the time or space to be depressed or anxious. So it is our minds that convince us of these vacant realities and we the “idiots” BUY IT , ACT ON IT try out best to make it appear real and justified.

Walk a block, hoot and holler, run, jump, rollerblade, laugh at nothing or something youtube is always a good source. You have to change your body energetics to change your mental state. Depression doesn’t heal itself. Depression and all the rest of the emotion crew will rule you if you let them but truly they are mental constructs nothing more. Hollow threats that we choose to believe. Unbelieve them.
Idiots are prevelant. Intelligence requires devotion to more than your emotions. You get to choose which you are each moment of the day. Become Switzerland of the mind. Go neutral. Neutral is not dull trust me it is sooo sexy. Sexy is getting to the real depth unimpeded by the glass shards and other debris we scatter about to self protect. Clean it up. Clean up your mind with meditation and become delightful, deep , delicious not a see saw.
