Yesterday I went for a pre-sunset walk at the beach. It was pure magic. The waves trying their darndest to catch me and anyone else who was testing the wild battalions of waves coming in all frothy erratic. As the walkable part of the beach was succumbing to their barrage we the people were dancing out of their way or some just allowing them to have their way with them. One father of teens said. ‘Your soaking why not just go get your swim suits on to this flock of dancing teens.” I thought what is the wonder of being properly attired. It was dancing with the chase and not minding if you lost. Because there was no losing only being kissed wildly by these erotic seducers.
The freedom of people was great. I was smiling deeply while walking and one girl/woman said ,”Yes this is the best isn’t it.” I totally agreed and then she burst into song. Whoever says Los Angeles is stuffy and uptight has not been to the beach. The children dragging seaweed strands much larger and heavier then they will be in the next two years. The castles that are built with such love and then reclaimed by the sea without protests like the sand paintings of the Buddhist monks. Just art for joy’s sake. Always the lovers or all ages walking hand in hand or laying on the beach. I now always sungaze looking at the sun through my heart or third eye try it, it is amazing. Try it and tell me what happens to you.
I am giving myself more permission to take those sublime walks on the beach, to rollerblade, to love what I do in every moment and make no difference from work to play. Playing with work and working with play.

Oceanic Love

You rush like an unruly battalion
Fanning out with great abandon
In search of unsuspecting encrusted toe, hoofs, pants
Impeding on your vast delicious domain
You rush in exotic, erotic demanding
The whole body succumb to your watery
lapping embrace .
