Sometimes do you wonder who is in charge of your day as it seems to gallop away from you or sometimes with you? I was warned and have warned you that this is the year of the Tiger and not for the meek of heart or those who like the slow lane. Have you felt the power surge?
I think when Dr Oz was suggesting that this be the year of more sleep he wasn’t quite thinking of the Tiger. It seems to be time for cat naps. Power naps and making the most of each moment. Make sure you have times and space (the illusions of them at least) to meditate You need this to recharge to stay centered and focused.
You also need to make sure you eat properly. What does properly mean? I used to believe people when they told me they ate well. Now I ask them what that means. What does eating well mean to you? Oh come on not your taste buds they don’t get the total vote here. I want your entire being to have more say so than those 18,000 little buds. We know what they love now what sustains you that is what is important this year.
I will share my secret. Do you want that? For me I have found much larger doses of easily digestible protein. Love Hemp Seeds, hemp protein bars, Chia Seed meal, love the meal more than seeds but will take seeds, Going for beans in my salads and lots fo quinoa. If you don’t know quinoa Google her and make friends with her. She is great and a great source of protein.
How to rejuvenate yourself during the day. Get a yoga mat and put is by your desk. Then use it instead of just walking over it. I do hand stands and other fun things but cat cow or down dog with inhaling coming up on toes and exhaling bringing heels closer to the floor will stretch your legs out, push your heart back and you get good spine stretch and your head gets cleared. What’s not to love. For more tips go here.
