Wow! We Are Amazing!
Today, I was at the airport and one of the reasons I love terminal #1 at LAX is the art. They have great upcoming artists. Today, I was not attracted to the main exhibit. It was all black and white and seemed very dark, but I went to explore it anyway and it was amazing. It was all Styrofoam packing that had been drawn on and assembled in these wonderful ways that resembled pueblos and villas and all sorts of wonderful, not known structures and things. It made me realize that we as “huemans” really are creative when we aren’t stuck.
When we allow ourselves to wonder about what we think is, could be. Strange sentence. I want you to read it several times.
What could be different in your life?
What could be different in the way you view your life, love, job, addictions, and habits?
What would be an exciting new way to view things if you could?
How would your life be different if you looked through the eyes of innocence, to see with wonder even the things you are sure you are “right” about?
We get stuck in the ways we view our lives and those of the people around us, even the ones we just met. Look at your life as an art project. What do you want to create out of what you have? What do you want to listen to? For all Art is based on a vision; on a different way of viewing; of hearing or experiencing things—often the mundane, the disposable, the underserved. These aspects are awakened in a different way to make others look at this aspect of life in a different light; to change your perspective of what you see or hear, or think.
What if you could look at your life as art? How differently would your life look?
To create a more artistic and realized life, here are some tips.
- To shift behavior, habits and perspectives, you need someone who will both challenge you to do so and support you in creating a new supportively creative life. Get a mentor.
- Be fearless and willing to dance with the unknown. To be an artist even though you may never have though of yourself that way.
- Do something you have never done at least once a week. Work the creative fearless muscle. Make a list of what that could be; that which you might enjoy, and some you might not.
- Be willing to lose your “people” who don’t want you to embrace this shift. They may come back later, or they may not, but be willing anyway.
I love you. I want the best for you. I would be so greatful to be part of your support system. If you want a 20- to 30-minute Strategy Session with me, I have a few times available and you could have one of them.
Wahe Guru love and success to you,
