More time in your day part 2

I gave you the overall in the last blog this time is the down and gritty part that you have do do the work. There is an old Saying I love. To succeed at anything there are three things you must  do and each one is the most challenging at that step.

1. Show up. Till you do this nothing can happen. Somethings are easy to show up for and others not so much.

2. Do the work. Some work you love, some challenges you, some your resist and some you just downright avoid at all cost.

3. Don’t be attached to the results. need I say more we really get attached to this one and feel totally justified in doing so.

That being said I am going to apply that to the seed of needing less sleep… Meditation this may be more challenging to some of you than cold showers, much more intimidating than switching your diet to a more plant based no junk food style. Meditation is only challenging till you start showing up for it. You meditate and then at some point it just does you you are no longer the doer of it.

Here are a couple really simple ones to choose from.

Doe this for at least 11 consecutive minutes 22 much better. You have to get in at least 1 hour/day so do 62 right here or split in in half 31 morning 31 nite before bed. Know yourself and to thine ownself be true.

This one has a sound and it will give you allot of energy not recommended right before bed.

Sit with your spin straight not with lower back arched. it can be on the floor, in a chair, in bed with pillows behind you. allow your hands to relax in your lap with the first finger (jupiter for accepting wisdom deep knowledge) toughing the thumb creating a circle (so the energy is being recycled into you). Then close your eyes and focus  right between your two eyes at your third eye. The sound is this: WAH Which means the vastness of WOW the depth of YES. It will give you that deep joy. HEY the waking up of that joy. GURU which is the transformation of that which is unseen (in darkeness ) into seen (Light). This meditation helps to bring the unmanifest into manifestation.

This is how the sound is done.It is done outloud chanted outloud WAH WAH HEY HEY WAH WAH HEY HEY WAH WAH HEY HEY GURU this is done very quickly while pumping your navel with each sound. All on one breath then you just take a sip in very quickly so you don’t really interrupt the sound current of this. Try this for 31 minutes and you will feel incredibly empowered and awakened. Maybe not the first few times because you will struggle with the sounds, you will struggle with the sitting, your will struggle with why the hell you are doing this. Resistance is the biggest block to getting the gifts of this meditation see how unresistant you can become.

If you were hoping for a simple breath meditation here is one you can choose. Sitting positions the same as the first one

Hands in lotus pose. Meaning the thumb and the pinky (mercury -communication) fingers are touching their counterpart across. The left thumb touches the right thumb and the pinky fingers do the same. Hold this mudra (hand position) in-front of your heart not touching the chest. eyes 9/10;s closed looking at the tip of the nose. Inhale sipping breath to a SLOW count of 4 then exhale through your nose in 4 parts, hold the breath out for 6 counts and begin again. This meditation is to calm and center the mind and remove anxiety.

Do you want more time in your day?

What if I told you I had the majic solution you needed to get more time in your day? Would you be interested? What would you be willing to do to get more quality time in your day? Well I do know how to make that happen and it will require more than taking a pill or drinking a majic elixir. Are you still interested?

Okay here is the secret in a nut shell. You will have to give something up to get that majic time. What is it? No not quality time with loved ones, not your times out with the girls/boys, not your exercise time. What then?  Sleep are you willing to give up 3-4 hours of sleep? If yes I can tell you how to do it so it won’t ruin you. If you want to do it and do it well. Then there is one major requirement and  few other wake up calls. First I should tell you my credentials for giving this information. I only slept 3-4 hours a nite for 35 years. Why you might ask? Later I shall say. The one thing that made that possible is this, oh and the great news is you can have this for free. You have to meditate at least 1 hour /day.  What? Why? Because when your mind is calm and clear  it takes the stresors off your other systems allowing your to be able to work better and requiring less sleep.

So that’s it or is it? No of course not. How do you meditate? What meditation if You should choose to try this and is there any thing else I should know? Yes there is. You will have to give up the fakers in your life. What do I mean. The things that act like food, act like drinks, the pretenders to the thrown. What this means is that you will be learning how to have real sustained energy instead of using cheaters to “Push you through” to “make it happen” .  If you have been using lots of “cheaters” you know what they are right the super caffeine drinks and yes that includes coffee, the sugar blasts or the caffeine and sugar combos or alcohol, caffeine combos. If you “Think” and I say think because you can, that you cannot do this then I shall say goodbye and when you get burnt out enough please come back and read this or hire me to get you back on track.

Meditation plus eating well and consciously with a little or allot dab of exercise will give you just what you need. How can yo start this. Sit down create a space that you can be Early before anyone else is up it is easier than you think.

1. Pick your spot.

2. Take a cold shower yes cold as you can

3. Pick your meditation and do it for 40 consecutive days

4. Start your day with Yogi Tea the hearty Chai Spice kind and you can add a green tea bag if you want but forget the sweetner.

5. Eat lightly, mostly plants eat more often and stay away from carbs they make you tired.

There you are easy breezy. Cover it all.

Now for the more challenging part tune in for the next installment when I will give you options of effective meditations. They will open you up and reconnect you to you and all your resources. You can start work early , you can be with your kids in the morning, your can exercise before work, you can have some alone time for something you have always wanted to do.
